Hello

​I paint with watercolours, ink and sometimes a little mixed media.  I live in Surrey, very close to the Kent and Sussex borders and find the surrounding countryside a real inspiration for me.  The changing seasons, flowers, landscapes and wild animals all have a great influence in my paintings.

Art has always been my ‘thing” from an early age.  When I left School I studied graphic design at Reigate School of Art.  Following this I worked for commercial printers and now enjoy seeing my original artwork reproduced into commercial products such as greetings cards, prints, coasters, notebooks and more!
 
I volunteer at a local Infant School and love  helping the children with their arty creations.  My career has been a journey, from designing brochures, logos and packaging  to  a few years later discovering Chinese Brush Painting and travelling to China to learn more about this intriguing form of Art.  I progressed on from  there to painting flowers and animals in watercolours but staying influenced with the loose, spontaneous Far Eastern style.
